Guacamole is a classic Mexican dip that’s rich, creamy, and full of fresh flavors. Made with ripe avocados, tangy lime juice, and a mix of aromatic spices and herbs, it’s perfect for pairing with tortilla chips, spreading on sandwiches, or adding to tacos.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the Avocados: Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados to your desired consistency.
  3. Add Lime and Salt: Stir in the lime juice and salt.
  4. Mix in Vegetables: Add the diced onion, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, and minced garlic to the bowl. Mix well.
  5. Season: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper if you like a bit of heat.
